The Space Between is a one-week yoga retreat in Puerto Escondido, Mexico — an invitation to slow down and rediscover what truly matters. Far from the rush of daily life, we create space: between breath and movement, sound and silence, effort and ease. This is your time to reconnect with yourself, with nature, and with the quiet inner knowing that often gets lost in the noise.

Each day offers optional yoga practices designed to support your rhythm — energizing flows, grounding stillness, and mindful movement accessible to all levels. Outside the mat, you'll have the freedom to surf the Pacific waves, rest in a hammock, or explore the flavors, colors, and soul of Mexican culture. Group meals, free time, and deep conversations are all part of the experience.

BARBARENAS

Barbareñas is an eco-retreat center nestled in the heart of La Punta Zicatela, Puerto Escondido — a coastal village where jungle meets ocean, and the rhythm of life slows to something beautifully human. Surrounded by nature, Barbareñas offers a sustainable and serene sanctuary for yoga retreats, holistic gatherings, and moments of personal transformation.

Here, the days unfold gently between surf sessions, nourishing meals, and quiet time in the hammock. La Punta’s tropical energy, laid-back surf culture, and sun-drenched charm create the perfect backdrop for both inner stillness and playful adventure.

Upon signing up, each participant will receive a private coaching call to prepare for the retreat, set intentions, and clarify any questions in advance.
7 Nights at Barbareñas Eco Village
Enjoy your stay in a sustainable and serene retreat center nestled in the heart of La Punta Zicatela, just minutes from the beach.
Daily Vegan Meals & Drinks
Savor three nourishing plant-based meals per day, lovingly prepared by a talented Mexican chef from Puebla. Hydrating drinks and light refreshments are also included.
Daily Meditation & Pranayama
Begin each day with practices to center the breath and calm the mind.
Daily Jivamukti Yoga Practices
Experience energizing, soulful classes infused with music, intention, and spiritual teachings.
Restorative Classes or Thematic Workshops
Soft evening sessions and occasional workshops will support your integration and inner exploration.
Props Provided
Yoga mats, bolsters, blocks, straps, and blankets are available on-site — no need to pack extra gear.
Insights into Yoga Philosophy & History
Short moments of study and reflection on the roots and depth of the yoga tradition.
Starlink Wi-Fi Access
High-speed internet is available if needed — though we invite digital minimalism throughout the week.
Arrival Coordination
Transportation from Puerto Escondido (airport or town) can be arranged by our team. Detailed “how to get there” information will be sent upon booking.

Flight tickets, travel insurance, transportation to the venue, and any extra meals or activities outside of Barbareñas are not included in the retreat price.
